Kristie Fankhauser

Kristie is a highly creative and strategic leader with a unique combination of commercial and interpersonal skills. 

With qualifications in law and accountancy, and a 25-year career in senior business development and marketing roles, Kristie’s ability to understand the financial and operational imperatives of business has led to her success in driving strategic business growth. 

She is currently responsible for identifying and driving revenue diversification opportunities for QTAC and is leading a variety of initiatives to expand the breadth of services to connect people, businesses and educators. 

Kristie is a skilled communicator and renowned for being a connector of people. She has a track record in bringing together individuals with complementary skills, creating long term strategic partnerships and building high performing teams. Sustaining strong relationships means that she is adept at engaging with multiple stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. 

Throughout her career, Kristie has led the marketing and business development functions and provided strategic consultancy to leading professional services firms, consistently maintaining a focus on delivering measurable benefits. 

Her desire to share her skills and develop the capabilities of others is a key motivator for Kristie. She commenced her career at Griffith University managing a team responsible for developing industry education programs that link into degree programs. She has also held a non-executive directorship with the International House Foundation at the University of Queensland which provides opportunities for young people to expand and grow both personally and professionally through mentoring, networking, scholarships, bursaries, leadership development, and wellness programs.
