Course outline

This program focuses on the political, social, cultural, and economic aspects of human service organisations and the provision of human services throughout Australia. Guided by experts with links to the health sector, students learn – through hands-on experience – how to improve the social, economic, personal and communal wellbeing for individuals in need. In the higher education diploma year, students develop fundamental academic skills and cement their knowledge in foundation subjects and core concepts. On successful completion, students progress into the Griffith University Bachelor of Human Services with credit.
