This course will teach students building and construction theory and practices related to low and medium-rise buildings. Students will extend their knowledge to building surveying, job supervision and safety management. TAFE Queensland’s industry-expert teachers will help students develop project management skills in contract administration, project planning and costing, and resource and financial management. Successful completion of this qualification meets the requirements for both a Builder – Medium Rise and Builder – Low Rise licence and will equip graduates with the skills needed to successfully manage a construction business for residential, commercial or industrial buildings.
