Course outline

The course provides students with core knowledge and training in theory, skills and practical application of geology. Core subjects provide a fundamental background and training in environmental earth science and geology essential to becoming a geologist. First-year electives are designed to provide a broad scientific background. In second and third years, students obtain additional knowledge and skills from other relevant disciplines. Students without the assumed knowledge must take the relevant enabling subjects within the course.
