Fostering healthy families and creating safe environments for children are key goals for communities, making this program a rewarding study choice. In the higher education diploma year, students develop fundamental academic skills, cementing their knowledge in foundation subjects and core concepts. On successful completion of the diploma, students progress into the Griffith University Bachelor of Child Family and Youth Practice with credit. Topics of study include child and family wellbeing, child protection, education, ethics, human development and learning, interpersonal skills, leadership and practice in early years integrated services, and sociocultural understanding.
