Bachelor of Music (Honours)/Bachelor of Science
The University of Queensland - St Lucia

Course outline

Graduates turn their passion for music and science into a unique career with this dual degree. Be equipped for a professional career in music and with knowledge and practical skills in one or more fields in the sciences. The Bachelor of Music (Honours) produces professionally qualified musicians in various fields of specialisation. It is for those wanting to pursue a professional career in music, and integrates the development of practical skills with theoretical and historical musical knowledge. The science component develops skills in communication, problem-solving, critical thinking and scientific technical skills. Students can choose majors that complement their music studies or broaden their knowledge in other scientific fields. They can select their science studies from one of the broadest choices of science disciplines in Australia. For more information, visit Bachelors of Music (Hons)/Science at UQ.
