This dual degree prepares students for careers as economists and analysts and can lead to careers in business, finance, international development, health, human resource management, marketing, management and research. The economics component focuses on an understanding of business markets, trade, government policies, international issues, globalisation, health, development, and the environment. Students complete compulsory courses that build their knowledge about key economic principles, theories and tools. The arts component gives students skills in creativity, written communication, problem-solving, critical thinking and interpersonal understanding.
