The Bachelor of Property provides a foundation for careers in the property development and management industry and the opportunity to specialise in property valuation. The degree includes a comprehensive range of subjects that focus on construction practices, feasibility studies, finance, investment and valuation, property markets, corporate real estate, land economy, sustainable development, and urban development. Students will be immersed in the ‘living laboratory’ of Australia’s fastest growing region and an infrastructure development hotspot, with the opportunity to work with real clients on commercial, residential, public sector, and community projects. Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors; Australian Property Institute for associate membership with Certified Property Practitioner Certification. Students who complete the relevant property valuation subjects as electives qualify for certification with the Australian Property Institute as a Certified Practising Valuer with the Valuers Registration Board of Queensland, and New South Wales Fair Trading (conditional on meeting professional practice requirements).
