This degree will provide you with a deeper understanding of how to help the community. You’ll learn in a personal atmosphere through practical experience from experts with strong links to the health sector, government and community. You’ll study processes and structures related to providing services in specialist areas such as childcare, education, welfare, development and learning, family studies and child protection, and learn about ethics in child, youth and family services. In your second and third years, you’ll undertake a professional placement, enabling you to enhance your practical experience. This includes working five days each week during your placement period. Supervised professional practice will enable you to apply and refine your skills for working with children and families. For more information, visit Bachelor of Child, Youth and Family Practice at GU
