Course outline

Progress your career in electronics and communications with this diploma level course and develop the advanced skills and knowledge to become a technical officer. In this course students will develop extensive skills in configuring computer networks as well as programming and fault-finding micro-controller equipped devices. Learn about electronic engineering redesign, commissioning electronic systems, risk assessment, and technical documentation. Students will also gain soldering, cabling and termination skills.

Prerequisites

Completion of Year 12 or attained Year 12 leaving age

Assumed knowledge

English (Units 3 and 4, C); General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 and 4, C) or completed Engineering Trade Certificate
