In this associate degree, students will develop practical skills in the application of modern engineering and applied technologies. Students will gain specialised knowledge in automation, robotics, digital fabrication, Industry 4.0 systems, CAD/CAM technologies, power generation, and digital process control. Our experienced teachers will ensure you can synthesise your theoretical and practical learning through industry-focused projects and real-world problem-solving activities aligned to contemporary engineering and manufacturing standards.

Prerequisites

English, Literature, English and Literature Extension or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 and 4, C); General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 and 4, C); Applicant must be 17

Additional entry requirements

To receive an offer to commence the Associate Degree in Applied Technologies (HED012), you are required to have:

– a recent High School Certificate, or completion of Year 12, or equivalent; or

– a recognised Tertiary Preparation Certificate; or

– completion ofa Certificate IV or above; or
– completion of a Certificate III with three or more years of relevant post-qualification work experience; or

– completion of the Diploma of Applied Technologies from a Registered Training Organisation; or

– completion of at least one year full-time or equivalent in a degree in a related discipline at a higher education institution.
