Bachelor of Mathematics/Bachelor of Commerce
The University of Queensland - St Lucia

Course outline

Combine a focused background in commerce with an in-depth knowledge of mathematics for a career in general management, banking, financial management, accounting and information systems or in scientific organisations. Commerce studies build a solid foundation of business skills for decision making in the contemporary business environment. In their maths studies students develop comprehensive, specialised knowledge and sophisticated application of mathematics with over 60 courses available in mathematics and statistics. They learn to solve data driven problems in the physical and biological sciences, engineering, information technology, economics and business. Students apply these skills and broaden their career prospects during practical industry placements or internships through UQ’s local and global network. Graduates are employed for their high-level quantitative and analytic skills to work in traditional and emerging fields. For more information, visit Bachelor of Mathematics/Commerce at UQ.
