Course outline

This course equips students with the frontline management and leadership skills to operate professional practices in the health industry. This qualification reflects the role of business or practice managers who manage the operation of small to medium-sized health practices. A formal qualification in practice management equips students to manage budgets and financial plans, health billing and accounting systems, and legal and ethical compliance. In addition, students learn about the health industry, along with front line management and leadership skills.

Note

In addition to the standard diploma eligibility requirements for a Fee subsidy, students will need to be an existing worker in the health industry. Applicants offered a place in this course who are not eligible for a subsidised enrolment will pay full fee.
