This course provides the theory and practical understanding of the role that property plays in the Australian and international economy. This prepares you for a career as a property professional within the wide range of professions that assess, develop, value, finance and manage all classes of public and private property, including investment, consultancy, asset management, development, valuation and research. You learn to provide advice on the use, value, management and marketing of property, in order to optimise the benefits from ownership or occupation and to ensure the property industry remains economically and environmentally sustainable and meets the needs of all members of society. You gain practical experience with Work Integrated Learning. The degree has professional accreditation from the Australian Property Institute; the Valuers’ Registration Board of Queensland; Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents, Malaysia; and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
