Course outline

This course combines the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and the Bachelor of Business degrees. The business degree is uniquely designed to inspire you to realise your full potential, to think entrepreneurial, and to ethically and sustainably shape the future of business. Early in the course, you will develop core business capabilities including critical thinking, professional communication, digital and technological fluency, teamwork, and global citizenship. You will undertake focused and authentic study in your chosen business discipline, engaging with the real world of business through work-integrated learning, projects and placements. The engineering degree teaches you to design and maintain cutting-edge products or infrastructure. You are exposed to hands-on practical experience through laboratories and design projects, leading to a range of career opportunities in the engineering industry. For engineering graduates, a business degree accelerates advancement and provides valuable skills in management, accounting, international business or marketing, depending on choice of major.
