This program produces graduates with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to use mathematics and statistics in a range of applications including the environment, medicine and politics. The program is flexible and offers students study options in the areas of computational mathematics, applied mathematics, financial mathematics, mathematical modelling, operations research, statistics, and statistics modelling. Students have the option of choosing a second area of specialisation to complement their science major and create a program that best suits them. For more program information, visit Bachelor of Science – Mathematics and Statistics at UniSQ.
