Course outline

As a graduate, you perform tests on human and veterinary specimens such as blood, bodily fluids, stool, urine, and tissue biopsies and can interpret and analyse results to identify blood diseases, viruses and parasites, immunity disorders and genetic mutations.

Graduates are skilled in all areas of clinical pathology including immunology, haematology, cytogenetic and transfusion science. Final year includes a 12 week professional placement.

You can choose an elective, such as pharmacology, business, Indigenous health, or research techniques, that supports your career aspirations.
