Combine theoretical studies of algorithms and data structures in computer science with a comprehensive specialised knowledge and sophisticated application of mathematics. Select a mathematics specialisation from over 60 courses in mathematics and statistics. Learn how to solve data driven problems in the physical and biological sciences, engineering, information technology, economics and business. Choose from a range of majors covering topical issues in mathematics and computer science. Study applied mathematics, cyber security, data analytics and operations research, data science, machine learning, mathematical physics, programming languages, pure mathematics, scientific computing or statistics. Specialist Mathematics is recommended for this program. Students without Specialist Mathematics or equivalent may be required to undertake preparatory courses which may not enable the program to be completed in the minimum time frame without overloading or undertaking summer study.
