Course outline

This course prepares you for work in human service organisations that provide public, non-government and private services such as child and family, disability support and health services. You learn how social, cultural, and economic factors can influence the health of individuals and communities. You complete 550 hours of professional placement to build skills in developing and delivering programs that recognise a client’s individual barriers to improved health.

This course is covered by the QUT Offer Guarantee and Year 12 Early Offer Scheme.
