This program features a hands-on, studio-based learning approach that provides depth of knowledge in your chosen study area. You collaborate with students and teaching staff from across disciplines to reflect industry practice, work on real-world projects briefed by real clients, and get career planning assistance to help you on your creative journey. With transdisciplinary project-driven capstone experiences in your final year, you are prepared for a highly professional and entrepreneurial approach to your creative practice. The music major prepares you for professional creative practice in a rapidly evolving cultural and professional landscape. As a graduate, you will work in a range of live, recording and multimedia environments as performers, producers, composers, developers of music software and games, DJs and private instrumental music teachers. You can take complementary studies from creative industries or other faculties across the university.
