The Bachelor of Education (Secondary) is a gateway degree to work as a registered secondary school teacher. A distinctive suite of first year units gives excellent grounding in literacy, numeracy, science, and core subject content. All students undertake core learning in Indigenous education, sustainability, inclusive education, and other critical areas.
In this specialisation, you choose two teaching subjects from a range of secondary subjects: English, Mathematics, Geography, Modern History, PDHPE, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Investigating Science, Business Studies, Legal Studies, Society and Culture, Aboriginal Studies. This course includes a substantial program of in-school professional teaching experiences. This course is also available online.
