This program gives students the skills, knowledge and experience for a stimulating and rewarding career as a teacher in both Early Childhood and Primary School settings. Students learn to design and deliver effective teaching programs from birth to 8 years of age with children in prior to school settings and in schools up to Year 3. Core courses help to deliver graduates who are prepared and confident in their teaching ability for a diverse range of learners. Students study in a flexible, engaging and dynamic environment with professionals who have experience in the early childhood and school settings. This program is approved by ACECQA for work as a teacher in early education and care services and graduates are eligible to apply for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers to teach in school contexts. For more program information visit Education and Teaching at UniSQ.
A Blue Card or Exemption Card is required, refer to institution. While this is not a requirement for admission, all students will need to organise and demonstrate a pass result in all components of the LANTITE prior to the final supervised Professional Experience and to graduate from this program.
