This innovative double degree will enable you to complete a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in the Faculty of Health and a Master of Data Science offered by the Faculty of Science in four years (full-time). The degree is designed to produce biomedical science graduates with advanced skills in data analytics and will enable you to fast-track your qualifications.
The complexity of the human body, modern lifestyle diseases and emerging medical treatments call for graduates with diverse skill sets. The application of bioinformatics, computer science and mathematical statistical modelling continues to have a major impact on research in the biomedical sciences. The combination of these two separate but complementary study areas will be at the forefront of developments in our understanding of public health, the causes of disease and the development of new approaches to treatment.
