Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
James Cook University - Cairns

Course outline

This course combines study from arts and science and gives students a deeper understanding of scientific principles, balancing them with the critical thinking skills and knowledge gained through studying the humanities. Arts subjects develop communication and research skills, and critical analysis of information. Some arts subjects are available online, giving students greater flexibility of study options. Depending on the science major chosen, students access state-of-the-art laboratories and research vessels for field trips to the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, and the Wet Tropics rainforests. Students can undertake an honours year.
