Whether you’ve worked within the creative industries for years, hold a creative media qualification and are seeking to deepen your knowledge to pursue greater career prospects, or want to refine and explore a specific creative media project, SAE’s Master of Creative Industries is the next step to reaching your full creative potential.

The Master of Creative Industries offer a progressive, learning experience like no other. With the benefit of no defined discipline specialisations, we’ll guide you to select modules that meet both your individual creative and professional aspirations and provide the appropriate foundation for your capstone project.

Deepen your knowledge and skills within your existing discipline or compliment this experience with cross-discipline electives.

Note

Duration is one and a quarter years full-time. Part-time study available for eligible applicants (excluding international student visa holders).

Completion of Year 12 or attained age 17 years; Prior study; Interview

Additional entry requirements

A completed bachelor degree or higher in media production (obtained within the last 10 years), or an Australian bachelor’s degree or higher in a non-related field with demonstrated skills and expertise in creative media or experience based entry: Applicants without a relevant bachelor’s degree can apply for entry to the graduate certificate via the experience based entry process and, on completion, apply to transfer to the Diploma/Master of Creative Industries. At least five years of documented relevant work experience related to media production with evidence of artistic ability and achievement or practice comparable to that of undergraduate degree holders in relevant disciplines must be provided, combined with the successful completion of year 12 or higher.
