Course outline

This course will provide students with the skills to become a qualified sports development manager or coach. In this course students will cover coaching fundamentals including how to plan and deliver coaching programs for high-performing athletes. Learners will also be introduced to the area of sports development and discover how to design, deliver and manage a range of community sport and recreation activities for the general public. Students also develop essential industry skills including managing risk, leading and managing people, and maintaining workplace health and safety.
