Course outline

This program is ideal for students with a passion for social justice and human rights. Social workers make an impact on the lives of others, making this a rewarding study choice. In the higher education diploma year, students develop fundamental academic skills and cement their knowledge in foundation subjects and core concepts. On successful completion of the diploma, students progress into the Griffith University Bachelor of Social Work with credit. This accredited program develops high quality social work practitioners with critical thinking skills grounded in the values and ethics of the profession, promoting social justice, diversity, equity, and a commitment to the rights and needs of the people with whom they work. Graduates are prepared for practice in a range of social work roles.
