This diploma and degree provide a pathway to a career in physiotherapy. In the diploma year, students develop fundamental academic skills and cement their knowledge in foundation subjects and core concepts required for a career in health. On successful completion of the diploma, students may progress into the bachelor degree with credit towards their study. This program provides an innovative, student-centred and employability-focused curriculum with a strong emphasis on client-centred and evidence-based practice, as well as experiential and inter-professional learning. Students take biomedical, physical and behavioural science courses as well as physiotherapy academic and clinical courses. For more course information, visit Diploma of Health Science and Bachelor of Physiotherapy.
Progression to the bachelor’s degree is limited to a quota of two places per intake and is based on student grades.
