In the higher education diploma year, students develop fundamental academic skills and cement their understanding in foundation subjects and core concepts skills required for a career in health. On successful completion of the diploma, students progress into the Griffith University Bachelor of Exercise Science with 60 credit points. In this bachelor degree, students gain the skills and knowledge in the physical, biomedical and psychological sciences necessary to become an exercise specialist. Students learn the role of exercise in both health maintenance and rehabilitation. .
