Course outline

This higher education program provides the basis for further university studies in nursing. Students investigate the core concepts of the anatomy and physiology of the human body, and the ways in which the body and mind develop and change across the lifespan. On successful completion, students gain credit for the first year of the bachelor degree. Theoretical content in the classroom is brought to life through simulated practical activities in laboratory settings. Theoretical models are explored through interactive workshops, and while simulated, real health service settings provide practical, experiential learning. For more information, visit Diploma of Health Care at Griffith College and Bachelor of Nursing at Griffith University.

Note

Progression to the bachelor’s degree is limited as quotas apply.
