Griffith College - Gold Coast/Griffith University - Gold Coast

Course outline

While undertaking this higher education diploma, students develop an understanding of core concepts and technical skills needed for a career in design. Developing their design and creative problem-solving skills, students learn how to develop designs that meet aesthetic, functional and user needs. Classroom studies, studio work, fieldwork and practical experience are combined to teach urban systems, public places and all aspects of the built environment. On successful completion of the diploma, students progress into the Bachelor of Architectural Design with some credit, setting them on the path to a fulfilling career as an architect.
