Students learn about professional communication, key software applications, information management and plan their own careers in an exciting, fast-paced industry. Elective courses include media, writing, visual communication, graphic design and more. Students put their learning and talent into practice by developing reports, pitches, proposals and concept documents for innovative new products or services in the creative industries. On successful completion of the diploma, students are eligible for entry into, and receive 96 units* of credit towards the Bachelor of Creative Industries.
*Maximum credit is possible only if students select relevant discipline electives in the Diploma that are required courses in the Bachelor degree, including in majors and minors; and also on the choice of major and minor. Credit might be limited due to insufficient elective space for introductory level courses.
