The Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science will enhance your knowledge and skills to apply the science of sport and exercise. The degree will enable you to develop interventions that improve sport performance, health, and fitness, and assist in the prevention of chronic diseases. During your degree, studies will cover all aspects of sport and exercise science, including anatomy and physiology, psychology, strength and conditioning, exercise prescription, programming and delivery, alongside professional placement.

External students are required to attend mandatory residential schools at the Ipswich campus during most semesters.
Sport and exercise science.
Students must complete a minimum of 140 hours exercise science placement during the degree. Placement will be undertaken at multiple sites. The student’s place of residence will be taken into account when placement is allocated, however all students need to be aware that they may need to travel.
