Students develop a strong foundation in essential core skills in relevant sciences, which is then integrated with contemporary knowledge and application to pharmaceutics, pharmacotherapeutics and pharmacy practice. This course aims to produce graduates with the knowledge, skills and attributes necessary to commence supervised practice in a preregistration training program and to achieve the recognised competency standards for practice of pharmacy in Australia and New Zealand. This course has been granted accreditation by the Australian Pharmacy Council and is approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia as a qualification leading to registration as a pharmacist in Australia.
