Students explore the effects of diet on the body, the role of nutrition in growth and development, and the impact of food choices on health. The program is designed to get students involved with food, understand the science behind food and the way the human body uses it and focus on a specialty area such as food science and safety, nutritional science, sport and exercise nutrition, health promotion, healthy public policy, public health promotion, indigenous studies, agriculture and aquaculture, social media, journalism or sustainability.
