As a QUT nursing graduate you will be skilled in delivering safe and competent practice across diverse populations, responding to the challenges of health care with agility and resilience, and engaging consumers as informed partners in their health care.
You will use your prior study as an Enrolled Nurse to launch straight into the second year of the Bachelor of Nursing. You will develop your understanding of pharmacology, emphasising quality use of medicines. These studies are complemented with opportunities to apply nursing theory to clinical practice in our on-campus facilities and in clinical placements off campus.
Graduates of this degree are prepared to excel in a profession where the scope of practice is expanding, and there are greater responsibilities for delivering more complex interventions in various healthcare settings and across diverse populations.
You will be scheduled for 840 hours of clinical practice in a diverse range of clinical settings, including rural and remote, with a minimum of 800 hours required for registration.
This course is covered by the QUT Offer Guarantee. Deferment is not available.
