As a graduate, you are highly-skilled nurse with an understanding of contemporary nursing practice and innovative nursing care. Course content focuses on the importance of patient-centred care and nursing practice that is culturally safe, evidence based, and respectful.
You have the opportunity to undertake up to 840 hours of professional placement (with a minimum of 800hrs required for registration) undertaken in block periods . Placements are available in public and private hospitals and community centres in Brisbane and regional and rural Queensland.

Applicant must be 16; Completion of Year 12 or attained age 18 years
You must have attended and satisfactorily completed at least 6 years of primary and secondary education taught and assessed solely in English. At least two years of this education must have been between grades 7 and 12. This education must have been completed in one of the following countries; Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom, United States of America. If you have not met these educational requirements, you are required to provide evidence of an acceptable English Language test.
