You gain legal knowledge and skills, and a strong grounding in the fundamentals of business. Law degree content has a practical focus and includes all the subjects required for admission as a legal practitioner in Australia: legal practice and ethics, contracts, torts, criminal law and procedure, equity/trusts, civil procedure, evidence, constitutional law, property law, administrative law, and corporate law. You gain practical legal skills from your first year. You can choose to specialise in a business area, including economics and finance, small business management, human resource management, marketing, or tourism, leisure and event management.
