Students complete a 140-hour exercise science professional placement in the third year of the course. Students access facilities that include fully-equipped exercise physiology, biomechanics and biochemistry laboratories, a multi-purpose sports hall and a weight training gymnasium. Graduates can pursue postgraduate or graduate-entry studies to become a psychologist or an allied health professional in areas such as clinical exercise physiology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition/dietetics or to become a personal development, health and physical education teacher.
