The Bachelor of Education (Primary/Secondary) is a gateway degree to work as a registered primary school teacher and a secondary school teacher in one subject. A distinctive suite of first year units gives excellent grounding in literacy, numeracy, science, and core subject content. All students undertake core learning in Indigenous education, sustainability, inclusive education, and other critical areas. This course includes a compulsory AITSL English Primary Specialisation and an optional specialisation in Mathematics, Geography or Modern History, as well as a substantial program of in-school professional teaching experiences.
