Course outline

As a graduate of the Bachelor of Creative Arts/Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) double degree, you will be equipped with a blend of creative expression, critical and cultural literacy and psychological insights to address real-world problems. Alongside the career pathways opened up by each of the individual degrees, together this blended offering prepares you for a broad range of professional fields including: art, dance and music therapy, community facilitation and cultural development, narrative therapy, human factors specialist, user experience designer, creative counselling, and as a creative practitioner—for example: an actor, dancer, musician, contemporary visual or performing artist, curator, film, television or theatre director, creative writer, etc. – or in any number of allied industry or creative roles. You are also prepared for the growing field of postgraduate research that draws on creativity, health, and psychology to address existent and emergent personal and social issues. You can also continue studies toward formal accreditation as a psychologist.
