You will explore the human mind and learn the skills to promote mental and emotional wellbeing with a dual degree in psychology and counselling. This program gives you in-depth knowledge on the science and applications of psychology, along with a strong foundation in counselling theory and skills. In this program you will cover the core areas of psychological science including the main theoretical positions, recognises the scientific basis of psychology, and provides education in the range of methods and analyses that form an integral part of the scientific approach used in psychology; as well as introducing the foundations of the counselling discipline, engaging in the critique of theory and practice and grounding the skills work in evidenced-based ethical and professional standards.
