Course outline

This versatile courses allows students to gain extensive discipline knowledge, transferrable skills and build a professional portfolio for a career in the modern workforce. Whether students are interested in teaching, media, writing and public relations, geography and environmental management, creative arts or history, this course features a comprehensive choice of 12 majors and 12 minors. The flexibility students have in combining majors and minors, along with the strong focus on career readiness throughout the course allows students to tailor their studies to their passions and career aspirations. Creative Writing; English and Cultural Studies; Geography; History and Politics; Journalism; Liberal Arts; Pathway to Teaching (Early Childhood); Pathway to Teaching (Primary);Pathway to Teaching (Secondary); Public Relations; Theatre Studies; Visual Arts.

Other requirements

Students will study a work-integrated-learning unit that provides them with the opportunity to consolidate knowledge of their chosen profession/discipline and demonstrate graduate attributes through an authentic learning experience, this may be through work-integrated learning, a global experience or a project. Prerequisites

English, Literature, English and Literature Extension or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 and 4, C); Completion of Year 12 or attained age 17 years
