UQ’s Bachelor of Architectural Design will equip you with the practical skills, knowledge and experience needed to create a healthier, more resilient and sustainable future through architectural solutions locally and globally. You’ll study design principles, sustainability, emerging technologies and more – plus, you’ll experiment with architectural form through our design studios, which connect you with the life of leading contemporary practice (they’re also a lot of fun). Our inspiring educators will share real-world experiences from their own work and provide valuable mentorship on navigating the professional landscape. Following the completion of your Bachelor of Architectural Design, your next step to becoming a registered architect is with UQ’s Master of Architecture. To progress to the Master of Architecture students must achieve a minimum GPA of 4.5 in the Bachelor of Architectural Design. Students with a GPA between 4.0 and 4.5 must also undertake six months (or equivalent) of professional experience in an approved architectural environment before progressing to the Master of Architecture.
