The Bachelor of Game Design and Development explores the fundamentals of game design, ideation and production, teaching you to transform ideas into playable experiences through creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving. You’ll develop advanced technical and artistic skills, with a strong understanding of production pipelines, design principles and games culture.
This degree is built on three core pillars: asset production, game ideation and design, and game project management. Throughout the course, you’ll build professional communication, leadership, and project management skills while developing a strong portfolio. You’ll create games from the ground up through real industry experience, completing work-integrated learning and a capstone project that culminates in a complete and polished portfolio piece.
With a thorough understanding of industry-standard tools, production processes, and promotion and networking, you’ll graduate prepared to navigate both the creative and business realities of a competitive global industry.
