Course outline

We live in a world of technological change, driven by increasing demands for better, more efficient, sustainable products. Engineering is at the forefront of this change, providing the knowledge, technology and skills to meet the requirements of the community.

In this program you will learn the fundamentals of engineering and machine design as well as the basics of mechatronics and electrical engineering. You’ll receive up to 48 units of credit towards the Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) (Honours), or Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronic) (Honours), upon successful completion of the program. Note

On successful completion of the Undergraduate Certificate in Engineering Design, and subject to meeting all other entry criteria, you may receive up to 48 units of credit towards one of UniSC – University of the Sunshine Coast’s four Bachelor of Engineering programs: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronic) (Honours), or Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic)(Honours).

Prerequisites

English, Literature, English and Literature Extension or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 and 4, C); Completion of Year 12 or attained age 17 years
