Course outline

Social workers make an impact in the lives of others. If you feel passionate about social justice and human rights, social work is the profession for you. In the higher education diploma year, students develop fundamental academic skills and cement their knowledge in foundation subjects and core concepts. On successful completion progress into the Griffith University Bachelor of Social Work with 80 credit points. This accredited program prepares graduates for practice in a range of social work roles. It develops high quality social work practitioners with critical thinking skills grounded in the values and ethics of the profession, promoting social justice, diversity, equity, and a commitment to the rights and needs of the people with whom they work.
