Course outline

In the higher education diploma year, students develop fundamental academic skills and cement their knowledge in core concepts and skills needed for a career in science. On successful completion of the diploma be ready to progress into the bachelor with 80 credit points. Graduate with the knowledge and core skills to understand the natural environment, including an understanding of how humans interact with it. Extensive field, laboratory and small group activities are included throughout the degree, helping students develop theoretical and practical skills in multiple disciplines.
