This program provides students with the prerequisite knowledge and skills for further study in the areas of biomedicine, environmental sustainability, chemistry and physical sciences, marine, wildlife and microbiology to obtain base level employment opportunities within these fields. Studies include academic and professional skills development for science and technology; biological systems; essential mathematics; genetics and evolutionary biology; chemistry; human biology; statistics; fundamentals of biochemistry; introduction to environmental sustainability.
