The Diploma of Arts and Social Sciences is both a standalone qualification and a pathway to a Bachelor degree. Successful completion of the Diploma of Arts and Social Sciences (Community Welfare) guarantees entry to the Southern Cross Bachelor of Community Welfare or the Bachelor of Social Work and up to eight units of credit towards these degrees. This course is offered through SCU College. All SCU College students are offered extra support and additional workshops to develop academic skills.
